[TechKnowledgy 2014] Free Technology Tools for Struggling Readers

Author: TechKnowledgy Conference

[Virtual TechKnowledgy 2014 Webinar by Jennifer Mitchell]
Unfortunately, students who struggle with reading have a history of failure and usually do not have the background knowledge they need to succeed. Technology can help struggling students become productive, independent, and achieve while accessing the general curriculum. To encourage our students to become life-long learners we should guide them to self-select the technology tools that are most beneficial. This session will demonstrate free and low cost tools that are available to ALL students. We will answer the questions: what reading tools? who can use the tools? and when can the tools be used?
