VCU-RRTC on Employment of Transition-Age Youth with Disabilities (VCU-RRTC-Transition)

Description:

Virginia Commonwealth University received a grant from the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR) to fund the Rehabilitation Research and Training Center (RRTC) on Employment of Transition-Age Youth with Disabilities.

The RRTC will conduct six studies to generate evidence-based interventions to assist youth to enter competitive integrated employment.

The training materials and events focus on meeting the needs of stakeholders including individuals with disabilities and their family members, disability service providers, policy makers, employers, and researchers. Our training agenda includes webcasts, lectures, an online course, manuals, and statewide meetings.

Resources are developed as we acquire new research knowledge. Resources include study updates, a journal article database, poster sessions, research briefs, and videos.
