DBHDS (Virginia Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Services) is committed to being good listeners, good partners and good stewards of the public resources entrusted to the agency. The Virginia Medicaid Waiver Network was initiated in 2000 with a  grant from the Virginia Board for People with Disabilities. The Network shares information and encourages advocates to work  together to resolve issues related to home and community based  waiver services. A Yahoo discussion group, VaWaivers, is used to discuss issues.
