Social Emotional Wellness Considerations Students with Disabilities Guide & Video (Virginia Department of Education, VDOE)

Good mental health is critical to every child's success in school and life. This is particularly true for students with disabilities, who, according to recent research, are more likely to experience social isolation from peer and suffer from depression in adulthood.
