Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services

DBHDS' new website (2014) was designed to improve your access to information about Virginia's behavioral health and developmental disability system. Virginia’s public mental health, developmental disability and substance-use disorder services system is comprised of 15 state facilities and 40 locally-run community services boards (CSBs). CSBs and facilities serve children and adults who have or who are at risk of mental illness, substance-use disorders or developmental disabilities.
