Self-Paced Online Course: Work-Based Learning - More than just passing classes and graduating from high school, education leads students to the ultimate goal of employment and integration into their communities. What activities or programs does your school have to support career awareness, exploration, preparation, and training for students with disabilities?

During this self-paced course for educators, our experts will give an overview of work-based learning, its importance, and some of the laws that influence work-based learning for students with disabilities. We will go over the process for developing paid and unpaid work-based learning experiences in the community as well as explore issues regarding implementation and support of paid and unpaid work-based learning experiences in order to help maximize student outcomes.
