National Professional Development Center (NPDC) on Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)

Description:

The goal of the National Professional Development Center (NPDC) was to promote the use of evidence-based practices (EBPs) for autistic children and youth, birth to 22 years of age. This was accomplished through a comprehensive professional development process at state and local levels.

Evidence-Based Practices - An evidence-based practice is an instructional/intervention procedure or set of procedures for which researchers have provided an acceptable level of research that shows the practice produces positive outcomes for autistic children, youth, and/or adults.
